McIlroy Leading U.S. Open Golf Tournament

Golfers from the UK, Rory McIlroy, denying the disappointment in the Masters tournament last April, when the lead three strokes on the first round of U.S. Open golf tournament at Congressional Country Club on Thursday.

Talented players from Northern Ireland was a hit six-under-par 65 in the field of windy, rainy, then sunny, on a big tournament game this year.

With an impressive game and a hard blow directed, McIlroy ended the first round with the lead players of South Korea’s Yang Yong-eun and Masters champion Charl Schwartzel of South Africa.

“I played really well out there,” said McIlroy (22) in a courtside interview, “I do not make mistakes. I hit the ball well and the ball towards the right.”

“I am satisfied with my game this time and I like the golf courses here,” he said.

“I have to work hard tomorrow to make my position on the best places at the end of this week,” said the English golfer.

British Open champion Louis Oosthuizen of South Africa, players from Spain Sergio Garcia, the player of the American Ryan Palmer, Alexandre Rocha of Brazil, South Korean golfer Kim Kyung-tae and Australia’s Scott Hend athletes, making note 69.

Holders Graeme McDowell of Britain and former champion of the tournament (major) Stewart Cink and Davis Love III were among nine players who each make a 70.

Three heavyweight players, Luke Donald, Lee Westwood and Martin Kaymer – the world’s top three golfers – failed to shine on the game’s first round.
